The poem below is about this:
Hey Taxi Canada for future reference the photocopier is not always your friend!
Hi Taxi and how are you did someone just step on your shoe?
I just saw Pat Prefontaine for the first time and all I could think was that this was definitely not the old spice guy.
I never thought that you would be an ad photocopier, like what I did just see.
With Old Spice the fish made sense for the brand, the rugged nature was a tip in hand.
It doesn’t for you because what the hell do dolphins have to do with the cell service you have in the cue!
It wasn’t bad but it was not good when I was more interested in the dolphins then you know your point was misunderstood.
I was not thinking about the brand or what Pat had to say, all I can think was this was enough fail for one day.
I know the rip-offs are to be here, but not from you who has creativity like some people have beer.
I will call this a foul and just look away, now get back to the box and really play it your way.
That’s why your taxi is always packed to the brim, it’s filled with ideas and thoughts with a few more always coming in.
That is what a brand desires so take a blank page and start with a wire.
Let the line lead you a stray until the insight comes along your way.
When it does as you well know that is the start of an idea to throw.
Maybe it will stick, maybe it will fall but it will make a better mark that this which was nothing at all.
Ask yourself this will Pat be remembered, or is he already on the way out?
I think you have your answer now it’s time to come about.
