Where does life happen, how does it happen. How do you see your failures, your broken dreams and how do you reach farther not in spite but because there is still so much farther to go, so much to discover about the world, yourself and each of our places within it.
1. I will write a TV pilot script by June 15, 2012
2. I will create a living world of story where the 36 story types will collide in complex and entertaining ways
3. Will write more articles for magazines
4. Find a place that is home, more than a roof, but that brings joy
5. Follow the dream, not just the idea of it but the work to evolve and be more every day
I have always had a hard time feeling the my dreams were possible. I had thought they were outside my grasp. I can’t like like that and I will not. I thought I needed to have a job but what I realize is that it is the mission that matters most. Not everyone has that chance and that is a gift I have waited too long to open, so hear it goes. I don’t fear what others think or perceive about me anymore and that is a freedom I cherish and will honour with every page written, every idea conceived, and world created.
It isn’t too late, in fact the urgency I feel is a great thing. I want to wake up to a brand new day, free of yesterday’s chains, of my own weakness and doubts. Instead I will do more than hope I will do. I take courage as my cloak, hope as my armor, use joy as my shield and dreams as my weapon.
