Have you ever wanted to talk to yourself as a kid? What would you say to the former you? Jeremiah McDonald a 32-year-old (and still single) actor did just that with a video he did when he was a 12 yea old before the time of the internet and you can see the results of the interview with himself below.
As Jeremiah talks to himself from yesteryear there is that nostalgia, melancholy, sarcastic bite and sense of loss that pervades the video. It also has its light moments where the geekery comes out to play via a Star Wars reference and a few Doctor Who ones.
The question we all ask is what would I say to the me before and in some way Jeremiah has an answer. My favourite moment was the moment of remembrance when Jeremiah (at least in the video) thought back to his love of drawing, when you could create a world in your mind and give it form on paper. I used to draw so I can appreciate that point, well. Great job and don’t blink. :p
As of this post it the video already had 311,032 views and 40,914 likes and 209 dislikes.
