So Assassin’s Creed 3 is right around the corner and here is a look by XboxViewTV at GamerCom about it all. Damn that looks really pretty but one thing I hate is exclusive DLC it drives me mad because you can feel like you are being denied the opportunity to get content based on the platform which is the exact opposite of consumer friendly.
You can see all the work Ubisoft has put into the franchise and the graphics for Assassin’s Creed 3. I wonder what happens to the series after they finish the story. Desmond has such an epic story to save the world from the end of days I wonder how they will follow it up given the yearly sequels we have gotten of the franchise especially since the next step will lean into the next generation of consoles.
Gaming is entering a rocky period with the rise of mobile and tablets and the ever-increasing budgets needed to produce graphical spectacles like Assassin’s Creed. What will happen during this next phase is going to be fascinating to watch, I hope it leads to a maturing of the market and its perceptions by the audience. We will see, now enjoy a naval battle and get ready for the end of days.
