One thing that I know is that it is impossible to keep up with the flood of information, thoughts, opinions and ideas. That is like trying to keep up with infinity. It is just not humanly possible.
I am making a hell of a lot of mistakes trying to break into the advertising world in account management.
Google can be your best friend and worst enemy because a simple search can reveal a lot about you and that is something employers can easily do to check you out. If they didn’t I would be considered.
I considered deleting and hiding a lot of information but then I decided against it. What point would that serve? None because I am not ashamed of what I have done, is everything I have written perfect, no and if some agency will not give me a chance because of that I say they are not worth my time anyways so not really a big loss.
So right now I am trying to unify my online presence and connect the dots. This means highlighting some elements and mitigating others that are more personal in nature.
So I am on the job hunt and I have done things the regular way and I am going to augment it with something else. What that is I do not know but I think it will be fun figuring out what works and what doesn’t.
