Vattenfall Makes DDB the Creative Agency for Europe

The Swedish energy firm Vattenfall named DDB as their creative lead following a lengthy 6 month pitch process. The work will begin April 1st and they will partner with Vattenfall’s media partner IUM.

The new relationship will be led from DDB Stockholm with their hubs in Germany, the Netherlands and will also help service Finland, Denmark, Belgium, Poland and the UK.

Some of the other finalists in the pitch were Lowe, TBWA, Publicis, Saatchi & Saatchi and Euro RSCG and the defendants of the business were N=5, Lowe and McCann Erickson. Congrats to DDB Europe on landing the Vattenfall account and the pan-regional work for Gü puddings and eBay.
